We aren’t perfect and don’t expect you to be either. The day-to-day at Mabbly is packed with change and our breadth of unique skills and experience enables us to prepare for the unexpected. It takes a high level of inspiration and self-education to join our growing team.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an innovative thinker and highly organized doer to oversee and streamline the project management of various client accounts. What does that mean? You’ll serve as the control tower of our operations, coordinating resource allocation, timelines, and overall efficiency. Our team includes world-class talent across multiple studios—strategy, brand, data analytics, and product—all working on diverse projects for multiple clients simultaneously.

In this role, you’ll live at the epicenter of our business, collaborating with studios to stay in sync with the rapid pace of our work. Beyond managing and coordinating the who, what, when, and how long of client initiatives, you’ll identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance functionality across our company. Along the way, you’ll deepen your understanding of marketing strategy, brand communication, and our clients’ industries. To support your growth, you’ll be paired with an Account Supervisor and/or Account Director who will mentor you on building strong client relationships and mastering the fundamentals of account management.

What You’ll Do

  • Internal Team Management
    • Lead internal status meetings to review project progress, incoming workload, and resource needs. Elevate any concerns or resourcing challenges to the Head of Account Management.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, driving them to resolution.
    • Build trust with internal teams through clear communication and a strong understanding of the needs of both clients and the team, ensuring alignment on all fronts.
    • Attend client meetings and share feedback with internal teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration delivers work that aligns with client objectives.
    • Conduct quality checks on all deliverables before internal and client reviews, ensuring feedback has been addressed and the work meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Project Timelines
    • Manage complex projects across multiple workstreams by developing and maintaining detailed Asana-based project plans.
    • Ensure teams have the tools and information they need to deliver work effectively.
    • Collaborate with the Account Lead to create and maintain timelines in Smartsheet, sharing them internally and externally with clients.
    • Update client status documents weekly to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Competitive Analysis
    • Monitor the competition and industry trends for your clients, compiling quarterly updates on new campaigns and key developments to keep the team informed and ahead of the curve.
  • Process
    • Champion ongoing process improvements and foster a culture of organization and efficiency.
    • Maintain and optimize internal tools like Google Drive, Asana, and Smartsheet to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communication Studies is preferred.
  • At least 0-2 years of account or project management experience is required.
  • Ability to work from the Chicago office 2 days/week in a collaborative hybrid work environment
  • Knowledge of best practices in account and project management.
  • Experience working with Asana or equivalent project management software.
  • Demonstrate experience proactively recognizing a challenge or problem and recommending solutions; strong structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support cross-functional project teams of various sizes.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills, including close attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
